Alerting a biker, a dog everyone believed to be stray drew his attention to the location of an abandoned newborn baby. A heroic action thanks to which the baby was saved. The animal was rewarded.
On December 24, Junrell Fuentes Revilla , 36, was passing on a motorcycle through the municipality of Sibonga , in the province of Cebu in the Philippines, when a dog stopped him.
Seeming very agitated, the canine stared at him and barked insistently , which greatly intrigued the rider. The latter then decided to follow him . The dog guided him to an abandoned , grass-covered area near the dump. This is where Revilla discovered a newborn baby , as reported by Cebu Daily News .
The girl was wrapped in a bath towel. She still had her umbilical cord and placenta . Without wasting a moment, the biker took her to the nearest hospital , where the miraculous baby was taken care of and rescued .
Subsequently, the local NGO Hope for Strays set out to find the dog she believed to be stray . She eventually located him and realized that the brave had a family , that of a named Kuya Lyndon Olingay . The dog is called Blacky and is 18 months old.
Although living in great poverty , his owners take good care of the hero of the day and their 9 other dogs.
Blacky and her family were recognized by Hope for Strays and the Pawssion Project organization, which provided them with food , daily supplies , toys for the children and a sum of money .
