The Bordeaux Court of Appeal rendered a decision that the Périgueux SPA qualifies as historic. She has, in fact, sentenced the former owner of a dog who mistreated the latter to a life-long ban on keeping an animal. The canine has just joined his new family.
The former master of Tayson – who is now called Thaïs – will never be able to have an animal again, while the dog he was mistreating has started his new life, as France Bleu reported on Tuesday, May 11.
In July 2019, the quadruped with the black and tan coat was only 4 months old. He had then had the femur fractured because of the blows carried by his owner, in Terrasson-Lavilledieu (24). Justice had been seized and Tayson withdrawn from his executioner to be entrusted to the SPA of Périgueux .
After his operation, care, rehabilitation and osteopathy sessions, the animal was doing better, but retained the after-effects of the mistreatment he had suffered. Eliane Rigaux , president of the Périgord SPA, explains that the dog “ will never be able to sit normally ”.

The association was a civil party in this case, as did the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which it did not fail to thank on its Facebook post .
