Health crisis requires, the 2020 edition of the Woof Run will take place later this year, compared to 2018 and 2019. My Pet Agency and Dog’s Runner, organizers of the dog sports event, as well as Woopets, partner, give you meet on September 19 in the heart of a magnificent estate in the Oise.
Although a very recent creation, the Woof Run has become a major event in the world of dog sports in France. With nearly 800 participants and 5,000 visitors expected , at least 23 million people reached via social networks , the race promises to be an exceptional moment of sharing and conviviality for dog lovers .
This year, the Woof Run will be in its 3 rd edition and will be held on Saturday September 19 in a setting of rare beauty: the Château de Bertichères , in Chaumont-en-Vexin in the Oise. This area offers more than 70 hectares of greenery, near the forest, rivers and ponds. Something to delight the many runner-dog pairs who will be able to take part in 2 events:
- The timed canicross : this is the classic event of this meeting. Affiliated with the FLSC (Federation of Canine Sports and Leisure), it will offer a 7 km course with several difficulties. This race will also be equipped with timing chips.
- The obstacle course : the dog-runner duos will have to overcome, at their own pace, 10 obstacles spread over 5 km.
Woopets will be present as a partner of the Woof Run, as in previous editions.
Also to discover, the village which will offer a variety of services and activities: canine first aid , osteopathy , dog trainers , sports activities, partner stands …
