In Narbonne, a man thought to recover his dog after having entrusted it for 3 days to a boarding house, but he was told that the animal had died. The subsequent autopsy revealed that he was dehydrated and had not eaten anything.

Anthony Cursio , who lives in Escales in Aude, lost his dog in still mysterious circumstances after leaving him in a boarding house , as reported by Midi Libre .

On Friday, September 13, he took his 4-year-old Spaniel to this establishment located in the nearby town of Cruscades . While he wanted to visit the boxes before leaving him for 3 days , the owner vetoed him , on the pretext that it is a private place . His reaction surprised him a little, but he still left the quadruped there.

Anthony Cursio returned to the pension on Monday morning, thinking of recovering his companion. The owner then ushered him into his office, told him he had to pay 39 euros for the animal’s stay, and then left for a good 15 minutes while he was supposed to bring the dog back. On his return, he simply told her that the latter was dead , saying he didn’t know what had happened . Incredulous, the Escalin rushed to the box where the canine was actually lying , while it was quite hot .

He immediately took the lifeless body of his dog, then took it to a veterinarian in Toulouse for an autopsy . Result of the examination: the dog was dehydrated and had hardly eaten anything . In other words, he died of thirst and hunger . A thesis contested by the owner of the pension, arguing that he had given him bowls of water , but that he had withdrawn them before the arrival of Anthony Cursio .

The master of the dog decided to file a complaint with the Lézignan-Corbières gendarmerie .
