A woman and her children find an abandoned box and discover a Pitbull puppy with 3 broken legs. His fate will change …

Despite her handicap and the ordeal she had just gone through, Princess has lost none of her jovial and friendly temperament. The New York police officers who rescued this dog were not insensitive.

Accompanied by her 2 children , a woman noticed a strange box on the side of the road in Amsterdam , New York. The little family discovered a Pitbull puppy there who looked injured . It was, in fact, a female who wiggled only one of her paws. As soon as she was informed, officer Gina Kline , of the city’s animal control service, attended the scene. Quickly examining the little dog , she felt that she had a broken front leg and both hind legs were paralyzed .

The next day, Princess was taken to the Country Valley Veterinary Clinic. Specialists discovered that she had broken an elbow , rib and vertebrae . She thus had to be operated . As soon as she recovered from the intervention, the Amsterdam police decided not to entrust her to a shelter , but to take care of her themselves while waiting to find a foster family or, even better, adoption .

Although partially paralyzed , the dog literally conquered the police with her friendly and playful attitude.

To help her regain some mobility , she followed physiotherapy sessions at the Ballston Spa veterinary center.

In addition, the Amsterdam police have opened an online kitty to finance his care and therapy. This made it possible to collect 10,000 dollars (nearly 9,000 euros) in just 24 hours. The unused amount of money will be used to help other animals in distress.
