Suffering from a disease preventing it from moving, a puppy was abandoned by its first owners. Fortunately, he didn’t have to wait long to find a loving, caring and determined foster family to help him overcome his disability.
Finding himself without a family overnight because he had a neurological problem, Hugo was saved by a couple who believed in him and wanted to do everything to lead a normal life. A story reported by Bright Side .

The young canine ended up in a shelter, but soon after his arrival, a host family who run The Tucker Farm , a shelter located in Tucker , Georgia (southern United States), took care of him.
The couple set up a whole program to help them acquire a certain mobility and thus lead a normal existence. They made Hugo do exercises to strengthen his paws, then the little dog was treated to hydrotherapy and swimming sessions.

Get back on his feet and ready for his new life
Hugo has made remarkable progress. At the same time, he became more and more confident, especially thanks to the other dogs in the house who reassured him and served as role models.

A few months later, he was now able to walk and even climb the stairs. He could finally enjoy proper walks with his fellows. Hugo had also become an educated and socialized companion. It was high time for him to take a new step: adoption.

The couple were happy with this development, but also felt sadness as they approached their departure. The ideal family was finally found for the brave Hugo , for whom a new life thus began. He now shares his joie de vivre with his masters and their 3 other dogs.
