Video shows Husky being dumped on the side of the road before being adopted

The scene is heartbreaking; filmed by a witness, a motorist by the name of Joy Dominguez , the video shows the passenger of a 4×4 getting out of the vehicle stopped on the roadside, detaching a Siberian Husky dog, then getting back into the car without it.

The vehicle starts again, leaving the dog in place. Not understanding what is happening to him, the poor quadruped runs behind the car, desperately trying to catch up with it, but it drives away much too quickly. He had just been abandoned.

The facts took place in Horizon City , in the State of Texas. The dog in question did not have to roam for long, since he was rescued, but also adopted the next day, as reported by CBS4 this Thursday, July 22.

Ronald Comeau has been helping animals in distress in El Paso County, where Horizon City is located , for 6 years, but this man had never witnessed such a cruel act. “ I don’t know how these people got into this vehicle, saw this dog in the rearview mirror running behind them and leaving. I don’t know how you can do this as a human being, ”says the volunteer.

Ronald Comeau did not hide his anger at this behavior. A feeling that many Internet users share after the video has been broadcast, especially via social networks.

The dog is safe and sound, however, and in good hands. A loving home was quickly found for the animal. His new masters called him Nanook .

For their part, the El Paso authorities have launched an appeal for witnesses to try to identify the perpetrators of this abandonment. “ These crimes against our voiceless animal victims are taken seriously and we are actively seeking out the suspects responsible for these cruel acts ,” the local sheriff’s office said in a statement.
