History of the breed
Physical features
His hair: hard in texture, it is dense, shiny and well laid against the body. Its length does not exceed 1 or 2 cm. It can be slightly longer on the back of the thighs and the inner side of the tail, which is tolerated, but not desired according to the official FCI standard of the breed.
Its color: snow white with orange markings on the body and head, especially on the ears.
His head: well proportioned to the rest of the body. Elongated and elegant. The skull is slightly longer than the muzzle and wider between the ears. The occipital protuberance is slightly marked and the stop very moderately developed. The nose is well pigmented (black or brown) and the nostrils are well open. The muzzle is strong, neither too narrow nor too pointed. The lips are not very thick, well applied against the jaws. The labial commissure is not visible. The jaws are powerful, well developed and scissor bite.
His ears: hanging, close to the head, their tip touches the skull. Attached at the level of the eye line, they are in the shape of an isosceles triangle with a rounded top. Medium in size, thin and covered with a short hair.
His eyes: medium in size, arranged in a semi-frontal position with an angle of 10 to 15 degrees from the horizontal line. Oval in shape, dark brown in color with a smart expression.
His body: strong, harmoniously developed. The withers are well developed, the loins strong and well muscled, the back powerful and firm, the rump muscular, broad and a little lower than the withers, the chest deep and wide, the lower line slightly raised.
Its tail: attached in the continuity of the line of the rump, it is strong at its attachment and gradually becomes thinner towards its end. Worn in saber, higher when the dog is excited or active.
