Some dogs are very protective of their owner and prove to be excellent guardians. In Muneville-le-Bingard, in Manche, a little boy and his faithful 4-legged companion showed a lot of courage on Wednesday April 14. The duo repelled a thief who broke into the family home.
A 10-year-old, left alone for a few moments, did not expect to start his day like this. While playing video games in the living room, he noticed around 9:30 a.m. that the front door to the house was open. Instead of meeting a familiar face, he saw a stranger searching the house, RTL reports. The boy did not panic, however.

The young Manchois walked stealthily to the cellar, where a very special family member was sleeping. The Cane Corso, renowned for its watchdog qualities, immediately faced the intruder. The latter did not dare to face the mastiff. He took his legs and fled from the house. The boy immediately phoned his mother to tell her this impressive story.
