Support for a cold, dehydrated Chihuahua, abandoned in a park (video)

The abandonment of pets is still relevant … A small dog has been left in a park in Willesden, north-west London. Her life was hanging by a thread.

A walker made a shocking discovery in Roundwood Park. He fell on a towel, hidden under a hedge. Inside was a Chihuahua shivering in all limbs, dehydrated and terrified.

The Good Samaritan gently hugged him and immediately took him to safety. He handed it over to the benevolent hands of the staff at the Mayhew Shelter. “ He was taken care of immediately by our team of veterinarians to receive the treatment he needed, ” said AJ Ford , animal welfare officer.

The puny furball was given the first name Tiny . His saviors took care of him after the terrible ordeal he had just gone through.

A happy ending

The caregivers kept him under observation overnight and gave him treatment for worms and fleas. Fortunately, the dog did not suffer from any particular health problems.

Once he warmed up and received the attention he deserved, he quickly felt better in his paws. And its story is far from over …
