Ease of grooming |
The Little Lion Dog practically does not moult and loses very little hair, which is also easy to remove with a simple brushing . Its maintenance is quite easy, especially since the absence of undercoat reduces the risk of knots forming .
It is recommended to brush the dog weekly to maintain the cleanliness and natural beauty of his coat. Maintenance is done using a soft card, a comb and possibly a detangling spray. The Little Lion Dogs intended to be exhibited are to be groomed in such a way as to endow them with a mane and to leave certain parts of his body well furnished to make him look like a lion. It is therefore also necessary to linger on the grooming of teeth , ears and nails .
