In the small village of Edzell, Scotland, a dog named Fergus has become a true hero. When he discovered his neighbor lying on the ground, the animal did not stop barking to warn its owner. A gesture that saved her.

But one evening earlier this month, the dog behaved unusually. At around 9 p.m., the canine came in and frantically left his home, barking continuously. Trish McGregor knew her neighbor wouldn’t call her at this hour. “ He didn’t want to shut up and I told him not to be an idiot. But it just didn’t stop, ”she said.

The owner of the 12-year-old Bearded Collie immediately contacted emergency services. An ambulance quickly arrived at the scene and took the nonagenarian away. She is currently on the road to recovery.

If the dog hadn’t taken the initiative to alert Trish McGregor , perhaps the story could have ended very badly. The four-legged hero has saved his neighbor, who praises him and loves him even more.
