History of the breed

the   Porcelain   is a dog of very ancient origin, one of the historic French breeds . Known for a long time under the name of Briquet Franc-comtois, he is the heir of the White Dogs of Roy . Porcelain almost disappeared during the French Revolution, but passionate breeders worked to save the breed. For this, contributions from Billy and Grand Gascon Saintongeois, among others, were necessary. It is mainly from the 19th century that China has seen a relative improvement. The Porcelain Club was founded in 1971.

Ease of grooming

the   Porcelain is an extremely easy dog to care for .

It is recommended to brush the dog once a week . It does not need to be washed frequently so as not to damage its protective layer of sebum. Its hair, ears, eyes and pads should be examined after each outing in the wild to detect and remove any debris or external parasites.

Her teeth need to be brushed regularly to eliminate tartar build-up and the proliferation of bacteria. Finally, if they do not wear out naturally, its claws need to be cut. If you are new to this, it is recommended that you seek advice from a veterinarian or groomer.
