History of the breed
The breed of the Great Anglo-French tricolor was developed from the 19th century by crossing various French breeds, like the Gascon and Poitevin Saintongeois with the Foxhound. From then on, the Grand Anglo-Français is traditionally used for hunting varied game , generally large, and on all types of terrain, even the most difficult. Although appreciated by hunters, this dog remains very rare even in France. It is almost impossible to meet him outside of France.

Physical features
His hair: short and of varying thickness.
Its color: tricolor, characterized by a black coat and bright tan markings and wide white areas.
